About the role
As a Junior Creator, you will report directly to the Lead Producer. In this role, you will work closely with them to execute our daily creative vision, align on format execution, and ensure all fast-turnaround and scheduled output meets our production standards.
What you'll be doing:
Content Execution & Production Support:
Film and produce engaging short and long-form video content across our studio and remote setups, supporting both studio and on-location production behind the camera. Handle a mix of formats, from capturing mobile-shot social to assisting on high-end multi-cam long form productions.
On-Camera Presence:
Show a readiness and enthusiasm to appear on camera across company-owned social media channels, including GOAL, Front Three, Fanzone, etc. You will bring your unique personality and passion for football directly to Footballco audiences.
Basic Editing & Post-Production:
Perform rough-cut and short form video edits using Adobe Premiere and mobile editing tools (where necessary), tailoring content specifically to the best practices of each social media platform. Collaborate closely with members of Audience, Production and Post-Productions teams to optimize content for maximum reach and engagement.
Studio & Set Management:
Support the day-to-day management and operation of our internal studio and sets. Help to ensure all production spaces are properly dressed, organized, and safe before any cameras roll.
Equipment Organisation & Maintenance:
Assist in overseeing the content studio's production inventory. Help maintain, organize, and track camera, lighting, audio, and grip equipment to maintain healthy workflows.
Content Planning &
Innovation: Collaborate with the entire Content Team to brainstorm, plan, and execute new video concepts. Stay deeply embedded in social media trends, technical techniques, and audience analytics to pitch creative ideas that keep our output innovative.
Audience Growth & Engagement:
You’ll have an understanding of analytics to track how our content is performing.
What you have:
Previous experience producing social media content in front of and behind the camera, ideally at a sports publisher or creator
Background editing social video in Adobe PremiereA strong understanding of and passion for football
Obsession with social media; deep understanding of what people want to share and what makes publishers successful
An understanding of the digital and social media landscapeA familiarity with analytics, data, and using data to drive insights and performance
Basic video shooting skills
Strong organisational skills and ability to look ahead in content planning
