Junior – Mid Weight Graphic Designer

Stripe & Stare is a fast-growing, BCorp certified sustainable fashion business. Known for making the most comfortable knickers in the world from trees, including the world’s first 100% biodegradable lace knickers. Barking mad, right? We also sell insanely comfortable bras, layers and sleepwear. Stripe & Stare launched 9 years ago. As well as a strong D2C UK & US business, we are available in numerous stores including Selfridges and online via Shopbop.

We are now looking for a key hire an Experienced Junior – Mid Graphic Designer to join our creative team. This is a hybrid role working M/F from home and Tu/Wed/Th from our London office.

Working closely with the Senior Designer, creating high-quality, consistent digital and print assets across paid social, email, packaging, POS and marketing materials, keeping the Stripe & Stare look and feel best-in-class at every touchpoint.

• Supporting the Senior Designer to create high quality and consistent digital and print assets, including but not limited to: paid social, email, packaging, inserts, POS, lookbooks as well as other marketing material.
• Making sure the look and feel of the brand is best in class across every touchpoint
• Working well and building strong relationships with other departments, showing clear collaborative and communication skills.
• Keeping up to date with trends, best practices, digital advancements, and competitors.
• Supporting and assisting the Senior Designer on the production of campaign shoots and e-commerce shoots.

• 1-2 years’ experience working in graphic design.
• A bachelor’s degree in graphic design or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of design principles and Adobe CC — InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and Figma.
• Experience in motion graphics/video — After Effects and Premiere Pro highly desirable.
• A creative thinker, always looking to push design and creative concepts further.
• A portfolio of inspiring, industry-leading work across multiple disciplines.
• Very organised, with excellent time management skills and strong attention to detail.
• An excellent team player and problem solver.
• Able to recognise and respond to current design, social and cultural trends.
• A can-do attitude that can thrive in a nimble and fast-growing company.
