Position: Media and Resources Coordinator WC1 WC1)

Aurora is looking for an up and coming Media and Resources Coordinator to provide technical and operational support to the production and editing teams. Ingesting, digitising and transcoding media. Setting up and maintaining edit suites and Aurora owned equipment and assisting edits. You will join an outstanding team, providing support for technical issues and general ad-hoc trouble shooting and support our editors by taking on edits or supporting on existing edits.

Job Responsibilities
  • Media Management including ingesting and transcoding footage (i.e. creating proxies)
  • (Un) archiving footage and projects using LTO tape archive.
  • Using and navigating cloud storage systems.
  • Solving network, software, and hardware problems.
  • Flagging recurring issues to technical support.
  • Maintaining and testing professional video and audio production equipment
  • Day to day management of servers to ensure enough space is free for daily functionality
  • Setting up projects, synchronising video and audio for editors.
  • Logging rushes for producers.
  • Assisting editors and producers with edits and sourcing footage.
  • Assisting camera operators with shoots.
  • Keeping on top of and ensuring efficiency of post-production workflows.
Skills and Qualifications Required
  • Be a member of the post-production team.
  • Experience as an edit assistant or post-production runner.
  • Experience working with Video Editors and non-linear edit suites
  • Good problem solver and communicator.
  • Organised with an understanding of the importance and impact of deadlines on production workflow.
  • Excellent timekeeping and project planning skills, including working to deadlines.
  • Team player
  • Fantastic attention to detail
  • Good communication
  • Love of sport is an advantage
