Freelance Social Media Designer – Sport

Touchline is an international communications agency specialising in sport, sustainability and philanthropy. We tell the stories ofmany of the world’s leading organisations in these sectors, working together on a wide range of exciting and ambitious projects. We’re currently looking to expand our creative team with junior and midweight designers who specialise in creating scroll-stopping static assets for social media. This freelance role will cover a range of responsibilities, including designing to a specific brief, helping deliver packages of content and digital campaigns, resizing assets, pitching creative ideas, responding to client feedback, and working as part of a team.

Exceptional attention to detail, reliable communication and the ability to work efficiently to short deadlines are important, while experience of working in a sports, editorial or corporate communications environment would be an advantage. All work can currently be done remotely, with successful applicants given the option of working in our London office.

• Have an eye for hierarchy, layout, typography and imagery
• Have a strong understanding of social-first design, including how to capture attention and turn detailed information into engaging carousels
• Be confident interpreting editorial briefs whilst working across different brand guidelines, templates and requirements
• Be highly proficient in Adobe Photoshop
  , with strong retouching, composition and image-treatment skills
• Have a strong interest in football
• Be prepared to commit to working for Touchline at least 2 days per week

Experience producing motion design and animation would be a bonus but is not essential. Salary and rate are dependent on experience.
