We are currently recruiting Graphic Design role focussed on the editorial design of bidding documents, design and graphical elements of the bid. Bids to be delivered to the highest quality and in a timely manner.

Bovis Construction have a Work Winning team who are responsible for the timely production of tender responses for the major projects that they compete for. A key function of the team is the editorial design and production of our responses in Adobe InDesign to a high design standard. We are looking for an entry level graphic designer to support our team and responsible for the design and production of our submissions.

The role combines editorial design, illustration, graphic design, and data management.

• Project manage the bid/proposal production process and ensure timely delivery of bid/proposal documentation.

• Lead the editorial design of the bid document via appropriate software package (INDD)

• Design and utilise bespoke InDesign templates for each tender we submit

• Format written responses into In Design

• Managing graphical/ creative design and technical writing resource input, both from an internal and external source and co-ordinate with external resource as necessary.

• Ensure completion of any bid/ proposal documentation to the highest standards.

• Maintaining company brand standards ensuring and that all bids are reflective of the company values.

• Co-ordinate a full review process on the documents, ensure they are fully edited and sense checked and that the bid aligns to the submission requirements.

• It is also the responsibility of the designer to manage their own work load and support team members as necessary.

• Presentation design and formatting to ensure brand guidelines are upheld

• Supporting corporate marketing with social media, internal and external communications, printed and digital collateral

• Light photography & retouching skills – taking corporate headshots and on-site candids

• Illustrate diagrams, flowcharts and present information in visual formats

• Create bespoke vector illustrations and icons

• BA Graphic Design (Or similar – i.e. Graphic Communications)

Fluent usage of the Adobe Suite (Primarily InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop), Time Management/Task Prioritisation, Strong written English language skills, experience with printed and digital formats.

Editorial design, typography, illustration, working with external printers.

Editorial design projects/High page count formatted documents (University projects, internships etc.)

Flexibility, adaptability, strong time keeping, confident in fast paced environments, works well under pressure.
