Company Description
Screw Loose is a London-based production company making premium, cinematic short-form video for major consumer brands — stunts, characters, comedy, narrative and spectacle. Our work is built on ideas people actually stop scrolling for, produced to a standard most short-form never touches: real locations in London, New York and LA, proper crews, proper craft. And we deliver at a pace most production companies wouldn't attempt — 28 finished videos a month for a single client.
We're small, fast and obsessive, and we're growing.
We're hiring a Creative Producer to own our shoots from lock to wrap. You'll take approved concepts and make them real: locations, permits, talent and extras, crew, kit, props and costume, schedules, call sheets, budgets and on-the-day problem solving. You'll run multiple shoot days a month — some planned weeks out, some pulled together in days — and you'll be on set making them work.
This is a detail-heavy job as much as a creative one. The bar is premium: the frame has to look expensive, and the paperwork behind it has to be immaculate. Releases signed before cameras roll, budgets tracked to the pound, footage backed up and with the edit team on time, every time. You'll work directly with the founder (who leads creative) and alongside our editors and post team, with occasional travel to the US for shoots.
Whatyou'll own
- End-to-end production of 4–8 shoot days a month: pre-production, scheduling, locations, permits, casting and booking talent and extras, crew and kit
- On-set running: call sheets, timings, safety, keeping the day moving when plans change
- Production paperwork done properly — talent releases, location agreements, insurance — with zero exceptions
- Per-video budgets: planning, tracking, receipts, handover to reconciliation
- Wrap discipline: footage uploaded and organised for the edit team same day
- 3+ years producing branded, social or entertainment video, with real on-set hours — you've run days yourself, not just supported them
- Calm under pressure and genuinely organised: the person whose shoots don't have surprises
- Experienced with London locations, permits and fixers; US experience a bonus
- Excited by ambitious, cinematic ideas — from comedy skits to stunts to narrative pieces — and rigorous about how they get made
- Positive & kind, good person
- Available to travel occasionally (US) and to work the irregular hours real shoots demand, with proper recovery time after
- Full-time, on-site London (Southwark) with location days.
