My client is an established supplier to the UK & European High Street, and they are looking for a trend driven, dynamic Womens Jerseywear Designer with a proven background in a similar role. Based full time in a dynamic, creative office in central London, you will work within a small team on trend, mood, colour and product development. You will take autonomy for your area and lead customer meetings/relationships.

Womens Jerseywear Designer
– The Role
* Collaborate within the team to create trend and mood boards, focusing on shape, colours, print, and fabric.
* Develop trend-led ranges across Ladies Fashion and Leisure Jersey.
* Source new materials in line with trends at the start and throughout the season.
* Present trends and ranges to buyers, and action any design requests.
* Produce detailed tech packs and specifications for accurate first-time samples.
* Oversee the range and customer sampling process from start to finish.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, developing both new and existing accounts.
* Coordinate with teams in China for range, sourcing, and customer developments.
* Analyse catwalks and competitors to spot missed opportunities and report findings.
Womens Jerseywear Designer
- The Person
* Proven experience as a Jerseywear Designer, ideally in a supplier environment.
* Ability to work to tight deadlines and prioritise workloads efficiently.
* A driven and passionate individual.
* Confident in presenting to clients at all levels.
* Strong understanding of current trends and market demands.
* Good understanding of garment construction and strong CAD skills to develop samples and ranges effectively.
* Excellent attention to detail in all aspects of design and production.
* Willingness to travel within the UK, Europe, and the Far East.
