Job Description Cameron Mackintosh Ltd are looking for a talented Deputy Head of Wardrobe for the London production of Hamilton. We are recruiting candidates with proven experience of large-scale musical theatre productions. The deadline for this role is 14th September 2026. Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the smooth running of the wardrobe department;
  • Help with the maintenance and laundering of all costumes;
  • Notify the production Head of Wardrobe of any items with wear and tear which may need immediate attention or replacement;
  • Alter costumes as required and repair when necessary
  • Be ready to dress during the show if necessary and accordingly have a good knowledge of each plot;
  • Take on the duties of the Head of Wardrobe when they are absent;
  • Be prepared to teach or learn any show plots when necessary;
  • Provide accurate time sheets on a weekly basis;
  • Attend meetings or training courses as required;
  • Attend promotional events such as publicity and photographic calls, press and media interviews and press junkets as required;
  • Being aware of the Producer’s health and safety policies and ensuring that requirements in relation to health and safety are met within the department;
  • Upholding and promoting at all times the Producer’s child protection policy and related procedures and guidelines;
  • Comply with the Producer’s policies and procedures in force from time to time, including but not limited to the Producer’s policies on Equal Opportunities, Bullying and Harassment, Safeguarding, Social Media, Data Protection;
  • Undertake any other reasonable duties asked for by the Producer.
