At Fact Set, our values are the foundation of everything we do. They express how we act and operate, serve as a compass in our decision-making, and play a big role in how we treat each other, our clients, and our communities. We believe that the best ideas can come from anyone, anywhere, at any time, and that curiosity is the key to anticipating our clients’ needs and exceeding their expectations.
** The Role
** We are looking for a skilled and confident Assistant Manager of Video Production to join our global studio team. This is a hands-on production role, with a primary focus on live event production in our London studio. The ideal candidate brings technical expertise, creative instincts, and the composure to deliver polished productions under pressure; whether managing a live executive broadcast or crafting a finished video piece in post.
You will collaborate closely with subject matter experts, senior leadership up to C-suite level, and external clients, serving as both a trusted production partner and a confident decision-maker on the studio floor.
You thrive in a fast-moving studio environment and take pride in delivering high-quality work. You understand that a great production is as much about people management as it is technical execution and you have the confidence to lead a room while remaining collaborative and solution-focused. You know when to act on your own judgment and when to bring others in, and you treat every stakeholder with professionalism and respect.
*
* Key Responsibilities:
** Live Production
* Lead and execute live studio productions including webcasts, executive interviews, panel discussions, earnings calls, and client-facing broadcast events
* Operate and oversee studio equipment including cameras, switchers, audio consoles, lighting rigs, and broadcast graphics systems
* Coordinate all technical elements of live broadcasts, ensuring seamless delivery from pre-production through to transmission
* Manage studio setup, run-of-show logistics, and real-time troubleshooting during live events
Post-Production & Video Editing
* Edit and deliver polished video content including event highlights, interview packages, promotional clips, and internal communications
* Manage post-production workflows including color correction, audio mixing, graphics integration, and file delivery across multiple formats and platforms
* Maintain organized project files, asset libraries, and archiving systems
Client & Stakeholder Management
* Build strong relationships with internal clients, external partners, and senior stakeholders, understanding their production needs and translating them into compelling content
* Brief and prepare on-screen talent, including C-level executives, providing clear direction with professionalism and tact
* Manage client expectations, communicate timelines, and proactively address production challenges with solutions-oriented thinking
* Confidently push back on requests where necessary, offering well-reasoned alternatives that protect production quality and integrity
Team Collaboration & Leadership
* Work effectively both independently and as part of a wider production team, adapting to shifting priorities and production scales
* Support the management of freelance crew and external vendors when required
* Contribute to the continuous improvement of studio workflows, processes, and equipment standards
* Adjust in-office schedule as needed to support events and shoots
** Required
Skills & Experience:
*** 5+ years of professional video production experience, with a strong emphasis on live studio or broadcast environments
* Experience working within financial services or corporate broadcast environments
* Proven experience operating in a professional broadcast studio, including multi-camera live switching and audio management
* Solid video editing skills with proficiency in industry-standard software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or equivalent)
* Demonstrated experience working directly with executive-level talent, with the confidence and professionalism to manage high-profile individuals on set
* Familiarity with streaming platforms and webcast technology (e.g., Stream Yard, Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Tricaster, OBS) would be beneficial
* Knowledge of studio lighting design and basic set production…
