The speed read:

We’re looking for a talented
Freelance Videographer & Motion Graphics Designer
to join a small, independent, b2b content marketing agency on a rolling basis, with the potential for the role to become permanent.

You’ll be responsible for bringing video projects to life from shoot through to final delivery – including; filming, editing, motion graphics and everything in between. You’ll work closely with the Creative Director to turn ideas into engaging, beautifully crafted content.

If you’re as comfortable behind the camera as you are in Premiere Pro and After Effects, this could be a great fit.

The facts:

You’ll own video production across a range of client projects, from pre-production and shooting through to post-production and delivery. The agency has an extensive in-house kit list, so you’ll have plenty of tools at your disposal. You’ll build and manage crews when a production calls for additional support. Shoots can happen anywhere from a client’s office to an unusual location, as well as in the agency’s own studio space.

Most projects are short-form, typically around 90 seconds, with longer-form work occasionally reaching around 10 minutes. You’ll work across film, editing, animation and motion design, sometimes starting with supplied footage and assets, and sometimes creating everything from scratch. The Creative Director will lead the creative direction, with you playing a key role in bringing the vision to life. There’s plenty of scope to experiment with new creative approaches and emerging technologies, including AI.

You’ll

be:
  • Confident owning a shoot from start to finish, from planning and crew building through to filming and post-production.
  • A strong storyteller who knows how to turn complex ideas into engaging visual content.
  • Equally happy shooting on location, in a studio or working with existing footage.
  • Experienced in editing and able to take a project through to polished final delivery.
  • Resourceful, organised and calm when things inevitably change on a production.
  • Curious about new creative technology and interested in exploring how AI can make production and creative workflows smarter.
You’ll have:
  • Proven experience as aVideographer / Filmmaker, ideally with agency or client-facing experience.
  • Strong shooting and cinematography skills.
  • Excellent editing skills in Adobe Premiere Pro.
  • Strong working knowledge of Adobe After Effects.
  • A portfolio/showreel demonstrating strong storytelling, visual craft and a range of video work.
  • Experience creating short-form branded or corporate content.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Experience using AI tools within creative or production workflows would be a welcome bonus. The agency currently use Higgsfield, Claude and ChatGPT.

Applicants must be living in and have the right to work in the UK.
