You will be joining the Merchandising and Campaign team, which sits within our broader Travel Partnerships division. The purpose of this team is to curate, merchandise, and promote highly relevant travel products and services that align seamlessly with our world-class editorial content.

Reporting to the Merchandising and Campaign Manager, this role is responsible for the visual presentation and promotional aspects of our travel products. You will play a vital part in attracting customers and driving sales by sourcing exciting travel offers, curating beautiful digital content, and bridging the gap between commerce and our award-winning journalism.

• Source relevant holidays and special offers that align with editorial content by collaborating closely with travel product providers and agents.

• Create engaging website pages for the Times Holidays website and curate high-quality image and video content libraries from third-party suppliers.

• Manage the daily relationship with the Editorial team regarding content links and edits, which includes leading communications and attending daily editorial meetings.

• Analyse website traffic, set up tracking, and conduct weekly reporting on affiliate activity to monitor link performance and optimise merchandising strategies.

• Monitor emerging travel trends, competitor activities, and shifting consumer preferences to ensure our travel offerings remain highly desirable.

• Experience with in the online travel environment, demonstrating a broad knowledge of holiday destinations, current trends, and distinct products such as touring and cruising.

• Experience working to commercial targets and KPIs, confidently collaborating with suppliers to curate itineraries and promote them within digital articles.

• Navigate Content Management Systems (Word Press preferred) efficiently and utilise data tools like Excel or Google Sheets to track performance and analyse affiliate activity.

• Apply exceptional attention to detail and strong English grammar to accurately proof promotional content and ensure all tracking and affiliate links function flawlessly.

• Master new systems quickly and organise competing priorities to ensure all print and digital publishing deadlines are consistently met.
