Graphic and Multimedia Officer

NHG is looking for a Graphic and Multimedia Officer to join our Corporate Affairs team and help bring our story to life. You'll create engaging visual and multimedia content, from graphic design and photography to video and digital assets, that supports our communications, brand and business objectives across the housing sector.

Reporting to the Head of Corporate Brand and Communications, you'll work with colleagues across Corporate Affairs to produce creative content that informs and engages our residents, colleagues, partners and stakeholders. • Support graphic design, photography and video projects across a range of channels
• Create and update branded materials, including newsletters, presentations, leaflets, posters, social media graphics and templates
• Assist with photography and video production, from planning and filming to editing
• Interpret creative briefs and deliver content to agreed objectives and timelines
• Ensure all materials meet NHG brand guidelines and accessibility requirements
• Help maintain our digital asset libraries and coordinate external suppliers, such as printers and photographers, where required

• Some experience in a graphic design, multimedia, communications or marketing role (employment, apprenticeship, placement, voluntary work or freelance projects)
• Experience creating visual content for digital and print channels
• Good working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator
• Basic photography, videography and video editing skills, and a willingness to keep developing them
• Understanding of branding principles and visual consistency
• Knowledge of accessibility and inclusive design principles
• Familiarity with content management systems, social media platforms or email marketing tools
• Good organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Confidence learning new technologies, plus a proactive, curious attitude and willingness to learn from feedback
• A degree, HND, apprenticeship or equivalent qualification in graphic design, digital media, multimedia or a related discipline, or relevant practical experience

• Experience with Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects or similar video editing software
• Experience creating content for social media and internal communications channels
• Knowledge of HTML and CMS platforms
• Experience with photography and digital asset management systems
• Understanding of the housing, public sector or not-for-profit environment
