The Programme Producer plays an integral role in the delivery of Mimosa House Gallery’s strategic goals through its public-facing activities. The post holder is responsible for the realisation of our exhibitions, events, production and supporting fundraising and communications.

  40 hours per week. Occasional evening and weekend hours as necessary, to be compensated in time of in lieu
• Salary: £30,000- £35,000 (depending on experience)
• Annual Leave: 20 days (plus 8 statutory holidays)

The Programme Producer plays an integral role in the delivery of Mimosa House's strategic goals through its public-facing activities. The post holder is responsible for the realisation of our exhibitions and programme of events. They lead on all areas of production, while also playing a key role in supporting the day-to-day running and development of the gallery, including communications, fundraising activities and administration.

Founded in 2017, Mimosa House is an arts organisation that exists to challenge the lack of diversity in the arts, in the UK and beyond. Throughout everything we do, we centre the voices and experiences of women and queer people, with a particular focus on people of colour, and the intersections between.

• Experience of organising public exhibitions in a non-profit organisation or equivalent significant experience producing exhibitions.
• Experience in coordinating exhibition logistics.
• Commitment to working with community groups
• Experience of setting and managing budgets.
• A positive problem solver, team player and collaborator.
• Meticulous attention to detail and highly organised.
• Excellent written, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure within a fast-paced environment with a flexible approach.

• Passion for contemporary art, inclusion & MHs vision in particular.

• Experience of international art transportation & registrarial responsibilities.
• Experience of organising public-facing events.
• Experience of using small business accounting software.
• Knowledge of producing editions & commercial merch.
