JUNIOR ART DIRECTOR - FULL TIME - LONDON OR WASHINGTON, TYNE & WEAR
Who We Are:Inspired by a shared love of fashion, sneakers and the surrounding culture, END. was founded in Newcastle upon Tyne back in 2005. Our first UK store brought together a curated mix of celebrated designers and emerging brands, many of which were previously hard to find outside of London. From day one, we’ve nurtured a community of like‑minded individuals united by a love for this ever‑evolving culture.
Today, END. serves over 2 million customers worldwide through a seamless blend of online and physical retail. Our industry‑leading stores in Newcastle, Glasgow, Manchester, London, and Milan reflect our commitment to innovation, influence, and inspiration. We offer a carefully curated selection of menswear, womenswear, sneakers, homeware, and lifestyle products to a global audience.
At the heart of END. is our customer and it’s our people and culture that make the difference. With over 600 employees across our HQ, offices, and retail locations, our customer‑first mindset continues to guide everything we do.
The Role:END. is looking for a Junior Art Director to join our Creative team and support the Head of Creative in shaping how the END. brand comes to life. You will help develop and execute creative ideas across brand campaigns, editorial stories, social content, events, partnerships and retail experiences. Working from initial research and concept development through to production and final delivery, you will help ensure that every expression of END.
feels relevant, distinctive and culturally informed. Social will be an important part of the role. You will understand how audiences discover and engage with content across different platforms, and help translate wider creative ideas into platform‑native work. You will be comfortable capturing content yourself when appropriate, identifying culturally relevant formats and ensuring END.’s social output feels current without simply following trends.
This is a hands‑on role for an emerging creative with a strong visual point of view and a deep interest in fashion and contemporary culture. You will be equally comfortable researching an idea, developing a mood board, refining a presentation, contributing on set, capturing social content and reviewing final imagery. The role offers the opportunity to work closely with the Head of Creative, contribute meaningfully to high‑profile projects and develop into a confident art director.
a breakdown of what you’ll be doing:
- Support the Head of Creative in developing and executing the creative vision for END.
- Contribute ideas for brand campaigns, editorial stories, partnerships, launches, events and cultural activations.
- Research developments across fashion, art, photography, design, music, social media and wider culture, turning relevant insights into creative ideas.
- Create mood boards, creative treatments, visual references, layouts and presentation decks.
- Help build clear visual narratives that connect creative ideas with END.’s brand, audience and commercial objectives.
- Translate creative concepts across campaigns, editorial, social media, film, physical retail, events and other brand touchpoints.
- Develop social‑first ideas and creative formats that are native to the behaviours, conventions and audiences of different platforms.
- Help shape how campaign and editorial ideas extend into relevant, engaging social content.
- Capture high‑quality, reactive content using mobile and lightweight production setups when appropriate.
- Identify opportunities to create behind‑the‑scenes, event, talent and culturally responsive content around END.’s wider creative activity.
- Stay informed about emerging platforms, creators, formats and audience…
