The Role
We're recruiting for a curious, hands-on AI & CX Experience Designer to work across client projects and the CX practice, using AI to rethink how they understand customers, solve problems and design experiences.
This isn't a traditional CX or product design role. It sits at the intersection of AI, customer experience, research and design. They're not looking for someone who just uses AI to work faster. They want someone who has built AI workflows for real teams or businesses and treats AI as a genuine creative and thinking partner.
One week that might mean building an AI-enabled research workflow. The next, turning a large body of customer data into new experience opportunities, rapidly prototyping a future service, or helping a client rethink a customer or employee journey around agents and automation. You'll own the delivery of your workflows within agreed briefs, with support and collaboration from the wider team.

They're especially keen to talk to people who are deeply immersed in tools like Claude and Gemini, and who are constantly experimenting with how AI can become a better thinking, research and design partner. [Recent AI postgraduates and career changers with strong, hands-on AI projects are also welcome.]
What You'll Do
Build reusable AI workflows and agents across research, strategy, experience design and prototyping
Turn agreed CX priorities into working workflows, automations and prototypes, connecting tools and testing the outputs
Turn customer data and research into insight, spotting patterns, behaviours and new experience opportunities
Create and evolve CX outputs with AI, from journeys and blueprints to concepts, wireframes and future-state experiences
Rapidly prototype new experiences, turning ideas into tangible, client-ready journeys, services and interactions
Design for both human and AI behaviour, shaping how people and AI discover, interpret and interact with experiences
Experiment with emerging AI tools and techniques, turning what works into practical approaches teams and clients can reuse
Share learnings and help teams adopt new ways of working
What You'll Bring
Hands-on experience building AI workflows for teams or businesses, going beyond simple content generation
Deep, hands-on experience with Claude and Gemini, and a good understanding of how different models behave
Examples of workflows you've created, or ones you know well and can show your contribution to, including how they were built, tested and what they delivered
A genuine curiosity for AI and a love of experimenting with new tools and approaches
Systems thinking, and the ability to design repeatable frameworks rather than one-off outputs
An understanding of customer experience, service design, research or human-centred design (a real plus)
An awareness of AI search and discovery (AEO)
