LocationSouth West London / Surrey, within M25.
Role OverviewThe Customer Services Representative will liaise with sales team and clients, estimate, book work and chase through production, and support the Customer Services Manager. The role is responsible for managing specified customer accounts, ensuring accurate estimates, booking, proofing, production control, and final job sign‑off before delivery.
Responsibilities- Liaise with sales team and clients, estimate jobs, book work, chase through production.
- Liaise closely with customers and sales representatives to ensure complete satisfaction.
- Manage specified customer accounts, including estimating, booking, proofing, production control and final job sign‑off before delivery.
- Support the Customer Services Manager by deputising and controlling workflow and scheduling.
- Book jobs for printing, ensuring accurate job instructions.
- Production control: proofreading, ensuring cost‑effective production, ordering stock, ensuring correct stock receipt, booking jobs with suppliers, ensuring on‑time delivery and required standard, meeting production schedule and deadlines.
- Check and dispatch completed jobs, file job and plate bags, maintain accurate MIS job records and record extras before invoicing.
- Liaise with the Customer Services Manager or customers on queries or problems.
- Contribute positively to team effectiveness.
- Carry out additional tasks as required by the Customer Services Manager.
- Maintain close contact with customers to ensure satisfaction.
- Help ensure overall effective and smooth running of the company.
- Produce accurate computerised estimates for customers.
- Obtain prices from suppliers for outside work to include in estimates.
Positive, can‑do attitude; willingness to learn and develop from an entry‑level salary; experience preferred in printing, packaging or paper sectors.
EligibilityApplicant must be resident in the UK and have recent experience in the print, packaging or paper sectors.
