The Role
As an Aviation Customer Service Specialist, you will be at the center of World Fuel’s global customer operations, supporting aviation clients around the world in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment. This is a highly customer‑facing role where you will manage incoming requests via phone and email, resolve real‑time issues, and ensure a seamless experience for our clients. If you enjoy talking to people, solving problems quickly, and working in a dynamic setting, this role is for you.
Impactof the Role
You are often the first point of contact for customers, making your responsiveness and service critical to their overall experience. Your work directly impacts customer satisfaction, retention, and service accuracy.
What You Will Do- Handle high volumes of inbound phone calls and emails from global aviation customers
- Provide real‑time support and resolve urgent requests with accuracy and professionalism
- Build strong customer relationships and deliver consistent, high‑quality service
- Monitor fuel availability and communicate updates or disruptions
- Partner with internal teams to ensure seamless execution
- Support customer accounts and identify opportunities to improve service
- Adapt communication style to a diverse, global customer base
- 1 to 2 years of experience in high-volume customer service, call center, hospitality, airline, or similar environments
- Excellent communication skills in English, written and verbal
- Comfortable being on the phone for a significant portion of the day
- Strong customer service mindset and ability to build rapport quickly
- High attention to detail and ability to multitask under pressure
- Positive, proactive attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid passport
- Aviation, travel, or logistics exposure
- Additional languages
- Familiarity with systems like Oracle
- Strong understanding of world geography
High school diploma or GED required
