Job Title

Customer Support (Full‑time)

Location

Halifax, Westfield Shopping Centre – within a reasonable distance to Lloyds and Halifax branches.

Work Pattern

35 hours per week, including Saturdays. Flexibility in hours may be required and will be discussed in advance.

Salary

£32,330, increasing to £33,080 after 6 months.

What you’ll be doing
  • Provide face‑to‑face support to customers in branches.
  • Handle everyday banking tasks.
  • Offer reassurance, guidance, and practical support during important moments such as bereavement, fraud concerns, vulnerable situations, and digital banking confidence.
  • Promote and support our digital services, help customers use online and mobile banking independently.
  • Recognise opportunities to connect customers with the right products and services.
  • Adapt to different customer needs and work confidently with online, phone, web chat, video or social media channels as you progress.
What we’re looking for
  • A minimum of 12 months of customer service experience.
  • An authentic people person – honest, genuine, caring about helping people with their finances (no prior banking experience required).
  • Ability to build relationships quickly and deliver an excellent customer experience.
  • Empathy, care, integrity, and the commitment to deliver on promises and go above and beyond for customers.
  • Team collaboration to meet customers’ needs.
