Job Title
Customer Support (Full‑time)
LocationHalifax, Westfield Shopping Centre – within a reasonable distance to Lloyds and Halifax branches.
Work Pattern35 hours per week, including Saturdays. Flexibility in hours may be required and will be discussed in advance.
Salary£32,330, increasing to £33,080 after 6 months.
What you’ll be doing- Provide face‑to‑face support to customers in branches.
- Handle everyday banking tasks.
- Offer reassurance, guidance, and practical support during important moments such as bereavement, fraud concerns, vulnerable situations, and digital banking confidence.
- Promote and support our digital services, help customers use online and mobile banking independently.
- Recognise opportunities to connect customers with the right products and services.
- Adapt to different customer needs and work confidently with online, phone, web chat, video or social media channels as you progress.
- A minimum of 12 months of customer service experience.
- An authentic people person – honest, genuine, caring about helping people with their finances (no prior banking experience required).
- Ability to build relationships quickly and deliver an excellent customer experience.
- Empathy, care, integrity, and the commitment to deliver on promises and go above and beyond for customers.
- Team collaboration to meet customers’ needs.
After 12 months in a customer‑service role, you can progress within the Group into specialist areas such as Digital, Operations, Fraud, Financial Planning, or leadership roles, supported by our Skill Progression Framework and accreditations.
