DescriptionWe are currently looking for a Production Operations Coordinator to join our Production team on a full time permanent contract.
The Southbank Centre Production team manages the technical requirements for all events across our site. We are currently seeking an individual to support the team by managing the staffing schedule.
Based primarily in the production office, this role involves carrying out administrative duties for the Director of Technical Production, Head of Production, the Production Management team, and the wider department. Additionally, you will assist in creating the staff rota across Production and ensure the accurate reporting of team absences.

Key Responsibilities- Compile and distribute staff schedules, departmental rate cards and technical specifications.
- Maintain the rostering and attendance management system (Google Sheets and Staff Savvy) and ensure all data is accurate.
- Assist with booking agency workers and casual staff and processing related paperwork.
- Manage holiday and sickness absence reporting and provide information to payroll regarding sickness and bank holiday payments and annual leave balances as required.
- Assist with crew member’s ad hoc expenses claims administration.
- Extensive knowledge of Google Suite, including complex formulas / permissions within Google sheets.
- An understanding of rostering systems, such as Staff Savvy.
- An understanding of theatrical terms and equipment.
- Working knowledge of stage and production management practices.
- Able to communicate effectively verbally and in writing and is able to handle and resolve issues collaboratively.
