Italian/German-speaking Graduate Operations Executive for Martin Randall Travel
Martin Randall Travel is one of the most innovative travel companies in the world. We are looking for a bright and enthusiastic graduate to join our Operations team working on our many and varied tours and music festivals. This is a stimulating role and would suit someone who is client-focused, good at detail, has an interest in the arts, and is prepared for some travel, in the UK and overseas.
Fluency in Italian and/or German is essential.
The role- Booking hotels, transport (flights, trains, coaches), restaurants, visits. Collaborating with suppliers (ground handlers, museums, box offices, local guides, private homes, gardens, archaeological sites, churches, wine producers). Briefing the tour leaders; compiling their documents; giving feedback. Assisting with client queries and special arrangements. On our music festivals: contracting artists, sourcing venues, chartering ships, dealing with lighting technicians and caterers. Costing tours; keeping to budget.
Updating our database; working with our website. Keeping reading lists, background information, and online resources up to date. Proofing client documents, brochure text and website content. Attending client events and tour managing; travelling to inspect prospective hotels and to attend trade fairs.
- Excellent spoken and written English, to fluent standard. University degree (or equivalent).Fluent Italian and/or German. Spanish is a further advantage.
- Efficient and flexible with proven ability to work to deadlines and pay attention to detail.
- Knowledge of, and genuine interest in, the arts (classical music, art, architecture, archaeology).
- Must have right to live and work in the UK.
Location:
Chiswick, London. Full time in the office for an induction period, and minimum three days in the office following that.
Hours:
Full time, Monday to Friday.
Contract:
Permanent, subject to a probationary period.
Salary:£30,000 per annum plus benefits,including 22 days annual leave (plus bank holidays), museum membership, training and development opportunities, pension contribution and health and travel insurance.
Start date:
October 2026.
