This is an excellent opportunity for a housing professional with a strong background in tenancy and neighbourhood management who is passionate about delivering outstanding customer service and creating thriving communities.
The Role Reporting to the Area Manager, Neighbourhoods, you will play a key role in delivering housing management services across your designated area. Acting as the main point of contact for residents, you will ensure customers receive a responsive, visible and customer-focused service whilst working closely with colleagues and partner agencies. This is a mobile role, spending time within local communities, carrying out estate inspections, managing tenancy issues and ensuring customers receive the support they need.
A health and safety device will be provided for community visits.
Key Responsibilities Manage a designated neighbourhood patch and act as the key contact for residents. Deliver a high-quality housing management service to tenants and leaseholders. Resolve tenancy management, anti-social behaviour and neighbourhood issues. Carry out estate inspections and community visits. Work closely with internal teams and external partners to improve services. Monitor service standards and hold contractors and service providers accountable.
Analyse customer information, performance data, service charges and budgets. Build positive relationships with residents, stakeholders and local agencies. Support community engagement and customer satisfaction initiatives. About You We're particularly interested in candidates who have worked in a similar Neighbourhood Officer/Manager role within a Housing Association .
You will have:
Previous housing management or neighbourhood management experience. Strong knowledge of tenancy management and tenancy enforcement. Excellent communication and customer service skills. The ability to influence, negotiate and resolve complex issues. Experience managing competing priorities within a busy housing environment. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. A proactive and customer-focused approach. Desirable Housing Association experience. Knowledge of leasehold management and service level agreements.
Understanding of current housing legislation and best practice. Private sector residential management experience. A full driving licence, although this is not essential .
