Service Advisor

We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Service Advisor position at a reputable independent garage near Cannock, Staffordshire. The Service Advisor role is crucial in ensuring an exceptional customer experience from initial booking through to vehicle handover.

Manage the complete customer journey, ensuring transparent communication and excellent customer service Handle service, repair, and MOT bookings efficiently Prepare accurate job cards, estimates, and repair authorisations Liaise effectively between customers and workshop technicians Provide regular updates, explanations, and advice to customers Coordinate parts orders and supplier communications Process invoices, payments, and warranty claims Maintain an organised, professional reception and waiting area Support the workshop team by offering a seamless customer experience Requirements:
At least 2 years’ experience as a Service Advisor within a franchise or independent garage Good understanding of vehicle servicing, repairs, and MOT procedures Strong customer service and communication skills Professional appearance and conduct Excellent organisational and administrative skills IT-literate with the ability to adapt to management systems Full, clean UK driving licence This Service Advisor role offers a genuine opportunity for career progression within a supportive environment.
