Job Description & How to Apply Below

If you take real pride in the details and love making people feel looked after, this one's worth a read. Our client is looking for a polished, people-first Community Host to be the face of their workspace centre in Southwark.

About our client

Our client is an established flexible workspace operator. They provide serviced offices, coworking and meeting spaces for businesses of all sizes. Their centres are designed to feel more like a premium hospitality venue than a traditional office, and service sits at the heart of everything they do.

The role

You'll be the first person members and visitors meet each day. You'll work alongside the Centre Manager and a small front of house team to keep the centre running smoothly and deliver meetings and events. You'll also help build a community that members genuinely want to be part of. It's a hands-on, on-site role with plenty of variety.

What you'll be doing
  • Welcoming members, clients and visitors, and running the front desk to a high standard
  • Setting up and turning around meeting rooms and events, including checking AV and helping guests with tech
  • Supporting new member move-ins and building strong relationships with people in the building
  • Leading centre viewings and spotting opportunities to upsell meeting space, coworking and memberships
  • Keeping communal areas immaculate, including light housekeeping and reporting maintenance issues
  • Carrying out customer s, daily health and safety checks and supplier sign-ins
Skills and experience

Essential

  • Experience in a coworking, serviced office or flexible workspace environment, or in a premium hospitality or members' club setting
  • An exceptionally polished, professional presence with a natural eye for detail
  • Confident using booking systems, Microsoft Office and email
  • Comfortable handling queries independently and staying calm when things get busy

Desirable

  • Experience supporting meetings and events
  • Some exposure to upselling or working towards targets
  • Happy to help with social media content
  • A qualification in hospitality, business or customer service
