Specialty Doctor​/Dentist in Endodontics; Restorative Dentistry

The Eastman Dental Hospital is pleased to offer a Specialty Doctor position in Endodontics within Restorative Dentistry. This is a part‑time role: 0.2 WTE.

• Assess new patients and determine endodontic treatment plans
• Undertake complex endodontic procedures
• Manage dental trauma cases
• Supervise post‑graduate trainees at Masters and MClinDent level, and specialty registrars, providing cover for colleagues when required
• Educate trainees and ensure safe, specialist care delivered to hospital standards
• Maintain high‑standard clinical documentation and communication with patients, referrers and staff
• Practice clinical governance and achieve local and national activity targets
• Undertake mandatory training, professional development and stay updated with clinical developments
• Contribute to departmental/divisional and hospital meetings
• Promote Trust values and comply with Trust policies
• Plan annual job, conduct appraisal

• Post‑graduate qualification in Endodontics
• Experience with complex endodontic treatment
• Ability to deliver complete restorative care and familiar with Trust policies
• Good insight into postgraduate training and compliance with Health Education England Professional Development Framework
