Salary range:
Grade 14 / £53,172 - £55,323. plus fantastic benefits.
Contract:
Fixed term/Secondment (1 year). Hours of work: 36 hours per week Monday–Friday.
Location:
Croydon.
Join the Performance and Programmes service as part of the Public Health Intelligence team to use data to design and deliver excellent services. You will help understand local health needs, address inequalities, set priorities, analyze population characteristics and disseminate findings.
Responsibilities- Provide input into the process of understanding health needs, addressing health inequalities, and determining priorities.
- Assist in understanding the characteristics of the local population.
- Disseminate findings of analysis to a wide range of audiences.
- Support redesign of the JSNA, development of neighbourhood‑level understanding, and delivery of the Health and Wellbeing Strategy.
- Proven track record of building and developing stakeholder relationships with partners and the Public Health team.
- Excellent knowledge in Public Health, including key datasets and concepts.
- Programming skills and experience developing software or interactive data tools.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and Power BI skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, experience in reports and presentations.
- Proactive, organised, able to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines.
- Independent and capable of working as part of a team with high motivation and flexibility.
