Clinical Lead focused on clinician performance – a unique opportunity to shape how clinicians develop, perform, and succeed within a progressive dental group.
The RoleThis is not a traditional Clinical Lead position.
You will take ownership of clinician performance across the group
, using a combination of:
- KPI analysis
- Clinical audit
- 1:1 coaching and mentoring
Your focus will be on helping clinicians unlock their full potential clinically, commercially, and professionally while ensuring the highest standards of governance and patient care.
What You'll Be Responsible For Driving Clinician Performance- Identify performance gaps and opportunities
- Lead structured monthly performance reviews with clinicians
- Create clear, measurable improvement plans
- Provide hands‑on support with:
- Treatment planning and case selection
- Case presentation and patient communication
- Improving conversion and patient journeys
- Support clinicians in:
- Increasing rebooking consistency
- Building confidence in higher‑value treatments
- Developing into future clinical leaders
- Ensure every patient leaves with a clear next step
- Strengthen clinician TCO collaboration to improve conversions
- Identify and remove friction points in the treatment journey
- Work closely with Practice Managers and leadership to:
- Improve chair utilisation and diary efficiency
- Align clinician output with business performance
- Support turnaround of underperforming clinics
- Quickly identify root causes of performance issues and implement solutions
- Produce clear performance reports for leadership

- Experienced dentist with strong clinical foundations
- Proven ability to improve clinician performance
- Clinical Lead experience
- Strong understanding of:
- Patient journey and conversion
- Experience mentoring or leading clinicians
- Exposure to implants and/or comprehensive dentistry
- Multi‑site or group practice experience
- Confident but supportive leadership style
- Ability to give constructive, actionable feedback
- Strong attention to detail and standards
- Be part of a modern, growth‑focused dental group
