Job overviewYou are invited to apply to a Senior Clinical Fellow (ST4+) post in Paediatric and Adolescent Endocrinology, available as 1 working time equivalent (WTE). We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our team to commence on 1st September 2026 for 6 months. There may be the possibility of further extension subject to mutual agreement and availability of funding. There is no on-call commitment.
Paediatric training to ST4+ or equivalent is a requirement. Previous experience in paediatric endocrinology is desirable.
The post holder will be part of a dynamic department with great opportunities for training, education, leadership and research. Training and education is developed jointly across GOSH and UCLH, and there are opportunities to collaborate closely in terms of research, education and clinical care. We also liaise closely with the Adult Endocrinology service at UCLH and other services including gynaecology, urology and endocrine surgery.
You will be expected to act as a senior decision maker, who is committed to multi-disciplinary team working.
Main duties of the jobYou will be joining a friendly team to provide an excellent service within UCL Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
You will be expected to support the paediatric and adolescent endocrine and diabetes services; for inpatients, endocrine testing in day-care and outpatient clinics. This includes support for the gender endocrine service for young people with gender incongruence/dysphoria.
You will work under the supervision of a dedicated consultant team, and alongside a multi-disciplinary team which includes Clinical Nurse Specialists, Dietitians, Psychologists/Psychotherapists and Allied Health Professionals.
