Dental Hygienist

Vere Dental is seeking a skilled and motivated Dental Hygienist to join our clinical team on a part-time basis. You will be working in a modern surgery, delivering high-quality preventive care and periodontal treatment to a discerning private patient base. You will be an integral part of our clinical team, supported by experienced dentists and a dedicated nursing team, and will have plenty of scope to develop your patient list and clinical skills.

• Deliver routine and periodontal treatment to private patients
• Conduct thorough periodontal assessments and develop individualised treatment plans in association with our periodontist
• Provide oral hygiene instruction and dietary and lifestyle advice. Preventive care is at the heart of our dental practice.
• Carry out direct access appointments
• Work collaboratively with the clinical team on shared patient care
• Maintain accurate records in line with GDC and practice guidelines
• Contribute to the practice’s preventive dentistry ethos and patient education

• Diploma in Dental Hygiene
• Current, unrestricted GDC registration
• Experience in a private practice setting (preferred)
• Extended duties qualification welcomed
