We’re looking for a qualified and experienced Dental Nurse / Receptionist to join our friendly team at Castelnau Dentists on a full-time, permanent basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys the variety of working both chairside and front of house and wants to become part of a busy, established practice at an exciting stage of growth.

The role will initially include a significant reception element alongside regular dental nursing. As our new surgeries become fully operational and our clinical diaries grow, we expect more nursing days to become available.

We’re therefore looking for someone who genuinely enjoys both aspects of working in a dental practice and is happy to work flexibly depending on the needs of the team.

• Providing chairside assistance and supporting our clinicians
• Preparing surgeries and maintaining high standards of infection prevention and control
• Supporting patients throughout their appointments
• Welcoming patients and providing a friendly, professional front-of-house experience
• Managing appointments and clinicians’ diaries
• Responding to telephone, email and patient enquiries
• Taking payments and completing general reception administration
• Working closely with the clinical, reception and management teams to keep the practice running smoothly

Castelnau Dentists is a busy, established mixed NHS and private dental practice in Barnes. We have recently expanded the practice by adding further surgeries, making this an exciting time to join our growing team.

We provide a wide range of treatments, including general and cosmetic dentistry, Invisalign, dental implants and facial aesthetics.

This position would particularly suit someone looking for a varied, long-term role that can continue to develop as the practice grows.

• Monday: 8:00am-5:00pm
• Tuesday: 8:00am-4:00pm
• Wednesday: 8:00am-5:00pm
• Thursday: 8:00am-5:00pm
• Friday: 8:00am-4:00pm
• 30-minute lunch break
• Optional Saturday mornings may occasionally be available

You’ll be a qualified Dental Nurse with current GDC registration and at least one year’s experience working within a dental practice.

• Confident using computers and learning new systems
• Flexible and willing to support different areas of the practice
• Passionate about providing an excellent experience for every patient

We currently use Carestream R4 and will shortly be transitioning to Dentally.

Previous experience using either system would be an advantage, although full training will be provided.
