As a Trainee Dental Nurse Apprentice, you will work closely alongside the dentist, supporting a variety of clinical procedures and helping to deliver outstanding patient care.

WHAT YOU WILL DOYour responsibilities may include:
Assist the dentist during patient treatments and procedures
Prepare and sterilise dental instruments and equipment
Maintain high standards of infection prevention and control
Prepare treatment rooms before and after appointments
Support patient care and help patients feel comfortable during treatment
Keep accurate clinical records and update patient notes
Ensure dental materials and supplies are stocked and organised
Follow Health & Safety policies and practice procedures
Assist with cleaning and maintenance of clinical areas
Work collaboratively as part of the dental team
Participate in ongoing training and professional development
During your apprenticeship, you will:
Receive regular training and support from Excellence Solutions Limited
Complete at least 20% off-the-job training
Study the Dental Nurse (GDC 2023) apprenticeship
Gain hands-on experience in a real working environment
Build the skills and knowledge required to become a qualified Dental Nurse
Become eligible to register with the General Dental Council (GDC) upon successful completion
GCSE English (Grade A-C / 4-9)
GCSE Mathematics (Grade A-C / 4-9)
