This isn’t a “run models and issue reports” BIM role.

At Foster + Partners, BIM is integrated into the way we design, coordinate and deliver. As BIM Coordinator, you’ll be the single point of contact for BIM coordination on your project(s) — ensuring teams are aligned, models are working, standards are applied, workflows are optimised, and delivery stays sharp throughout.

You’ll sit inside the action — working with designers, architects, and technical leaders — solving problems early, keeping coordination tight, and ensuring the technology supports the design, not the other way round.

You’ll also be part of a wider BIM group that takes capability seriously: mentoring, best practice, continuous improvement, and pushing the quality bar higher every year.

• Taking ownership of BIM coordination on one or more projects, ensuring teams work efficiently in Revit and associated tools
• Managing and maintaining model health, structure, and coordination workflows across project teams
• Running clash detection and producing clear, usable coordination outputs (Navisworks, reports, insights)
• Ensuring Foster + Partners BIM standards, procedures and workflows are applied consistently and communicated clearly
• Supporting technical project delivery through configuration, setup, and ongoing model management
• Acting as a trusted interface between internal teams and client-side BIM stakeholders to keep coordination smooth and professional
• Supporting mentoring, upskilling and best practices within the studio environment
• Helping deliver coordinated models, data and project documentation at the quality and pace expected of a leading global practice

You’ll be someone who’s confident technically — but equally strong in communication, calm under pressure, and capable of working with multiple stakeholders without drama.

• Proven experience as a BIM Coordinator on medium/large Revit projects
• Strong working knowledge of Revit, AutoCAD and Navisworks
  , including clash detection and coordination reporting
• Confidence working across multiple teams / disciplines with strong attention to detail
• Excellent organisation skills — you can keep models, information and people aligned
• A collaborative, proactive mindset (you’re the person who makes things better, not just “maintains”)
• Clear written and verbal communication — you can explain technical issues in a way project teams actually understand
