This is an opportunity to work at the forefront of commercial interiors, shaping innovative, buildable, and beautifully resolved workplaces for some of the most recognisable brands in the UK.

The business is known for its award‑winning design, technical rigour, and collaborative culture. They deliver projects with precision, creativity, and a deep commitment to client experience. If you’re a detail‑obsessed designer who thrives in a fast‑paced D&B environment, this role offers the platform to produce your best work.

Opportunity

This is a senior role within a growing technical team. The business is focused on finding the right person first, then shaping the role around their strengths. You’ll take ownership of technical design delivery across multiple workplace projects, ensuring every detail is coordinated, buildable, and aligned with the design intent.

You’ll work closely with concept designers, PMs, commercial teams, and site delivery teams to translate creative ideas into fully resolved technical packages that stand up on site.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Design Delivery: Produce detailed technical drawing packages including GA plans, RCPs, joinery details, partitions, elevations, and bespoke elements. Ensure all design information is coordinated, accurate, and compliant with building regulations and industry standards. Lead technical design stages from concept development through to construction issue.
  • Coordination &

    Collaboration:

Work closely with concept designers to maintain design integrity while ensuring buildability. Liaise with PMs, QS teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to resolve technical queries. Attend site visits to review progress, troubleshoot issues, and ensure technical accuracy.
  • Quality & Compliance: Champion best practice in technical design, documentation, and drawing standards. Ensure all technical information aligns with H&S requirements, CDM, and statutory compliance. Review and sign off technical information produced by junior designers.
  • Innovation & Problem Solving: Develop creative technical solutions that balance design ambition with practical delivery. Stay up to date with materials, construction methods, and workplace design trends. Contribute to continuous improvement of technical processes and standards.
What You Bring
  • Strong experience in workplace design & build, ideally within a fast‑paced D&B environment.
  • Expert proficiency in AutoCAD;
    Revit experience is highly advantageous.
  • A deep understanding of construction detailing, building regulations, and technical coordination.
  • Ability to produce high‑quality, accurate drawing packages under pressure.
  • Strong communication skills and confidence working with clients, contractors, and internal teams.
  • A collaborative mindset and a passion for delivering exceptional workplace environments.
Why This Role Stands Out
  • Join a respected, design‑driven business with a strong pipeline of high‑profile projects.
  • Work in a collaborative studio environment with talented designers and technical specialists.
  • Shape your role around your strengths – this is a business that hires people, not job titles.
  • Genuine progression opportunities within a company that invests in its people.
  • Exposure to complex, creative, and large‑scale workplace projects.
