In-house Architect

A new Architect job available with a high-end real estate and development company in Fitzrovia, London. The company is now looking to employ its own in-house Architect to work on all stages of luxury residential projects in London and Europe and will require regular travel overseas.

Working closely with the Managing Director, the successful candidate will be involved in the delivery of live projects from day one, taking responsibility for both architectural and interior design elements across a range of luxury residential developments. This is a hands-on role offering significant autonomy, ideal for an architect confident in running projects independently from concept through to completion. Proven experience supervising projects on site is essential.

Role & Responsibilities

^ Work across all project stages from concept to delivery
^ Work closely with the director to develop and deliver concept designs
^ Take day-to-day responsibility for the running of projects
^ Liaise directly with clients and manage on-site issues as they arise
^ Designing bespoke joinery
^ Frequent travel abroad (typically 4-5 days a month as required)
^ Close collaboration with company leadership on design and delivery.

Required Skills & Experience

^ Minimum of 3 years post-qualification experience working on UK based projects
^ Ability to work independently across all RIBA stages with proven experience in site management
^ Passionate about project delivery and a desire to help develop the business
^ A creative thinker who can interpret and deliver the director's vision
^ Interior architecture experience including designing bespoke pieces and joinery
^ Strong communication and problem solving skills
^ A hands-on attitude and a proactive nature are essential!

What you get back

^ £48,000 - £52,000. Flexible for the right candidate
^ Performance related bonus
