Senior​/Principal Landscape Planner

Overview

We are looking for an experienced Landscape Planner to join our Environment team in our London office. This opportunity is open for candidates at either Senior or Principal grade. Our goal is to appoint the best candidate to support us in delivering exceptional service that fosters sustainable and successful development for our expanding client base.

• Deliver landscape and visual impact assessments (LVIA) including related work streams such as strategic planning and mitigation.
• Prepare townscape and visual impact assessments (TVIAs) and contribute to practical landscape analysis to guide development principles and deliver sustainable, high-quality designs.
• Support projects that may involve appeal work for sites in sensitive landscapes, collaborating with legal teams and senior stakeholders.
• Undertake bespoke landscape and visual analysis with a keen eye for detail.
• Collaborate with clients, teams and community members; communicate with integrity, even when discussions are challenging.
• Demonstrate proactive, strategic and analytical thinking to meet client requirements.

• A degree or postgraduate diploma in Landscape Architecture.
• Chartered Member of Landscape Institute.
• Proven understanding and experience in LVIA’s, feasibility studies, landscape planning and design, supporting landscape statements and mitigation strategies.
• A track record in the energy sector.
• Strong technical report writing skills.
• Proven project management ability with effective organisational and communication skills; able to work collaboratively and independently.
• Ability to be proactive, strategic and analytical in approach to support client requirements.
