As a Digital Designer at Picnic’s Amsterdam HQ, you'll join a dynamic team shaping the online presence of the first fully digital supermarket. Working alongside designers, copywriters, web developers and marketing specialists, you’ll help craft engaging web pages and contribute to a meaningful customer experience.

Tricks of the trade

Create engaging web designs: Design engaging, responsive web pages and interfaces by creating wireframes, prototypes, and visual mockups using Figma and the Adobe Suite.

Ensure optimization and performance: Optimize web designs for speed, usability, and mobile responsiveness. Ensure websites meet accessibility standards and SEO best practices.

Cross-team & cross-country collaborations: Translate briefs into functional and aesthetically pleasing web designs. Collaborate with developers to ensure seamless integration of design and functionality. Work and learn from designers, analysts and business stakeholders internationally (the Netherlands, Germany & France).

Champion Picnic's visual identity: Ensure brand consistency across Picnic's web presence and alignment with all our other channels.

Push for continuous improvement: Stay current with design trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in web design.

Your superpowers

BSc. or MSc. degree in visual, media, digital or communication design, or similar.

2-4 years of working experience in web design, preferably in a commercial and/or agency environment.

Solid online portfolio showing a keen eye for detail paired with lots of creative flair.

Expert with Figma and the Adobe Suite (Photoshop and Illustrator).

Self-starter with a “roll up your sleeves” attitude.

Eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.

Holder of an EU work permit.
