Location: Greater London

International architecture and design practice with a strong reputation for delivering high-profile workplace interiors projects is seeking a Project Leader to join its London studio.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced interiors professional to take on a leadership role within a growing workplace team, overseeing the delivery of complex commercial interiors projects. Working alongside a collaborative and highly creative team, you will lead projects from concept through to completion while supporting the continued growth and development of the studio.

Job Description

  • Lead workplace interiors projects from concept design through to delivery
  • Establish and manage project programmes, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget
  • Develop fee structures and support project pursuits
  • Manage client relationships, anticipating and responding to client expectations throughout the project lifecycle
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to project teams, supporting their development and performance
  • Coordinate internal teams, external consultants and contractors to ensure cohesive project delivery
  • Oversee the selection of materials, finishes, furniture and equipment
  • Manage construction phase activities including RFIs, submittals and technical documentation
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards and construction practices
  • Lead presentations to clients and key stakeholders
  • Support new business opportunities through professional networks and client relationships
  • Maintain high standards of QA/QC across all project documentation

Key Skills

  • Degree in Interior Design or Architecture
  • Significant experience within commercial interiors, particularly workplace environments
  • Proven ability to lead and coordinate project teams
  • Excellent technical knowledge and strong understanding of construction and documentation processes
  • Proficiency in Revit
  • Experience managing consultants, contractors and multiple stakeholders
  • Strong organisational, communication and presentation skills
  • Experience managing project programmes, fees and client relationships
  • Interest in sustainable design and innovative workplace solutions
