Medium-Weight Architect – London – Permanent

Up to £65,000 plus travel allowance, health and pension.

An established architectural design studio is seeking a Medium-Weight Architect to join its growing London team. This is an opportunity to work on high-quality residential, mixed‑use and urban regeneration projects within a collaborative and creative studio environment.

The Role

You will play a key role in supporting project delivery from concept through to technical design, working closely with senior architects and consultants to develop thoughtful, well‑executed architecture.

This role would suit an architect with strong design ability, solid technical knowledge and experience working across RIBA Stages 2–4.

About You
  • Part II qualified or fully qualified Architect
  • 3–6 years’ UK practice experience
  • Strong design portfolio demonstrating residential or mixed‑use experience
  • Good understanding of UK planning and building regulations
  • Confident in technical detailing and coordination
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Proactive and collaborative approach to teamwork
Software Skills
  • Revit (essential)
  • AutoCAD
  • Adobe Creative Suite
  • Sketch Up / 3D visualisation tools desirable
Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to projects from Concept Design through Technical Design
  • Prepare high‑quality design drawings and presentation material
  • Coordinate consultant information and integrate multi‑disciplinary inputs
  • Assist with planning submissions and supporting documentation
  • Develop detailed technical drawings and construction packages
  • Participate in design reviews and internal workshops
  • Support project delivery to programme and quality standards
Qualifications
  • Part II qualified or fully qualified Architect
  • 3–6 years’ UK practice experience
