Position: Architectural Technician (3 month contract)

Salary: £35-40,000 annual salary (dependent on experience)

An established architecture and design practice is seeking an experienced Architectural Technician to join its team on a 3-month contract basis in their Richmond-upon-Thames studio. The successful candidate will support the delivery of a range of leisure,spa and fitness projects, producing high-quality technical drawings and construction documentation while working closely with architects, designers, consultants, and contractors.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare detailed technical drawings, plans, and construction packages using AutoCAD.
Develop and coordinate technical information across all project stages.
Assist with planning applications, building regulations submissions, and technical approvals.
Liaise with consultants, contractors, and project stakeholders to ensure design intent is maintained.
Review and update drawing packages in line with project requirements and site conditions.
Support project delivery from concept through to construction.

Requirements

Proven experience working as an Architectural Technician within an architectural practice.
Strong proficiency in AutoCAD is essential.
Excellent understanding of UK Building Regulations and construction detailing.
Experience producing technical drawing packages for planning and construction.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately under deadlines.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
