Studio Zeal is hiring a freelance junior interior designer to join its team in London.

Hello! We’re Studio Zeal, a small residential and hospitality interior design studio based in Peckham, and we’re looking for a freelance junior interior designer to join us two to three days a week.

We work on full house renovations and boutique hospitality projects across London, and we’d love to find someone early in their career who’s keen to get stuck into real projects, learn from our team, and grow with us. You’ll be involved across all stages of the process – from design concept right through to procurement and project management – working closely with our directors and architect along the way.

What you’ll be doing :

helping develop design concepts, mood boards and material palettes
producing and updating technical drawings (floor plans, elevations) in Vectorworks
sourcing furniture, fabrics, and finishes from our trade vendors and favourite brands
helping put together client presentations
assisting with procurement and project admin as projects move into implementation

What we’re looking for:

one to two years of experience post-graduation along with creative drive and technical understanding
working knowledge of Vectorworks and Sketch Up
strong graphic communication and presentation skills;
InDesign and Photoshop experience is essential
a good knowledge of finishes and FF+E specification along with a desire to continually source new and interesting products
someone who notices the details others miss, and isn’t afraid to ask questions
ability to plan time and meet deadlines
happy working both independently and as part of a small, friendly team
must have the right to work in the UK
