Fusion Design and Architecture is seeking a junior interior designer to join the team in London.
About usWe are a London-based interior design studio founded in 1998, specialising in hospitality projects in the UK and overseas.
We’re a close-knit team of around 15 and known for our professional but personal approach.
Collaboration is at the heart of everything we do; we build strong relationships with clients, suppliers and each other to deliver design that works and spaces that inspire.
The roleWe’re looking for a creative and technically minded
Junior Interior Designer with a love of hospitality design to support our team across multiple projects, from concept through to completion.
- Concept and presentation: helping develop concepts, mood boards and 3D visuals for F&B spaces
- technical drawings: producing 2D drawing packages (plans, elevations, sections and joinery details) in Vectorworks
- FF&E and sourcing: researching and sourcing furniture, fixtures and finishes, and liaising with suppliers
- project support: preparing schedules, specs and presentation materials for client meetings
- site coordination: attending site visits and supplier meetings to support delivery and maintain design quality
You’ll be confident, proactive and keen to learn, happy working independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
You’ll also have- a degree in interior design or interior architecture
- one to two years’ relevant industry experience
- strong working knowledge of Vectorworksand Adobe Creative Suite(InDesign, Photoshop)
- a basic understanding of UK building regulations and drawing standards
- great communication, both written and spoken, and presentation skills
- a positive, can-do mindset and strong attention to detail
- mentorship from senior designers
- UK and international project exposure
- career development, with six-monthly reviews and aCPD programme
- 20 days holiday plus Christmas studio closure (typically an extra three to four days)
- extra holiday days after five years’ service
- a sociable studio culture (summer plus Christmas trips, Friday snacks/drinks, and regular socials)
- salary is competitive and based on experience. Applicants must be eligible to work in the UK
