Part architect

Overview

Allen Architects is looking for a Part 3 architect to join its studio in south-east London.

We are a small architectural practice working across bespoke residential and commercial projects. We enjoy creating buildings that are carefully considered, well detailed and enjoyable to use. We care about good design, and we’re equally interested in how buildings are put together, believing the best projects come from giving both the same attention.

We’re looking for someone who enjoys working across all stages of a project, from early design through to technical development, site and completion. As a small practice, you’ll work closely with clients, consultants and contractors and have the opportunity to take real ownership of projects.

We’re looking for someone with:

• postgraduate qualification in architecture (RIBA Part
  3) or equivalent overseas degree
• minimum two years’ experience working within a UK-based architectural practice with past involvement across all RIBA work stages
• record of running UK residential projects from design to delivery
• on-site experience
• ability to develop detailed technical proposals with a high level of design
• highly organised and able to multitask multiple projects at any one time
• excellent communication skills and experience of working with clients, contractors and other suppliers
• experience of UK statutory regulations
• good attention to detail across all areas of design
• proficiency in AutoCAD, Sketch Up Pro, Adobe CS, NBS Chorus

Salary is dependant on experience.
