Key Responsibilities Produce electrical design deliverables including single line diagrams, schematics, cable schedules, and equipment layouts Develop supporting documentation including bills of materials and design packs Take a lead designer role across projects and proposals Mentor and support junior and mid-level designers Review and check designs to ensure quality and compliance Collaborate across disciplines to deliver coordinated design solutions Ensure all designs are safe, practical, and fit for purpose Requirements Proven experience as an Electrical Designer across infrastructure or industrial projects Proficiency in CAD and 3D modelling tools Strong knowledge of UK electrical standards and legislation Experience across multiple stages of the project lifecycle Good communication skills with confidence engaging stakeholders at all levels HNC/HND, City & Guilds, or equivalent qualification Professional accreditation or working towards it is desirable
