Senior interior designer

Overview

MUNRO is looking for a senior interior designer to join its London studio. The position will be available from early August 2026. We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly creative superstar to help us with our current and new projects. Tasks will range from project concept development, sketching and visualising, material and FF&E selection, drawing and detailing, procurement and final styling.

Project management experience is key for the role.

• creating design concepts and client presentations
• creating 3D Photoshop renders
• ordering material samples and managing the supplier database
• producing specification schedules
• preparing and managing cost spreadsheets for reporting on and the approval of budgets
• contributing to technical drawing packs and detailed drawings
• planning and managing procurement to suit lead times for site installation
• running projects alongside other senior designers and director with confidence
• managing subordinates with ease
• on-site visits and overseeing production
• liaising with clients, contractors and suppliers
• managing samples and our sample library

• experience working with a London-based interior design studio including completed projects
• strong prime residential background, hospitality background an advantage
• experience managing/working on projects from conception to completion
• ability to work well under pressure, prioritise and meet deadlines
• self-motivated, focused, can get on with the tasks at hand
• strong client-facing skills
• must be experienced with Excel, Sketch Up, Photoshop and In Design
• proficiency in AutoCAD/CAD a huge advantage
