Lead Product Designer

• Set the design direction for Spend
• Lead, coach and develop a small team of Product Designers
• Stay hands-on in design on complex initiatives
• Partner closely with Product Managers, Engineers and Researchers
• Champion high standards of design craft, accessibility and inclusive design
• Balance customer needs, commercial goals and technical constraints
• Collaborate across Savings, Borrowing, Platform and Design Systems
• Contribute to the growth of the wider Design team

• Experienced Product Designer with a strong portfolio
• Led or managed designers before
• Comfortable defining strategy and crafting user experiences
• Experience designing native mobile products, ideally in fintech or banking
• Designing for accessibility, inclusion and Consumer Duty
• Excellent collaboration across Product, Engineering and Research
• Comfortable working with design systems

Demonstrates expertise in leading and developing Product Designers while maintaining a hands‑on approach to design. Proficient in crafting user experiences for native mobile products with a focus on accessibility and inclusion in the fintech or banking sector.
