My client is a well-established and forward-thinking architectural practice based in the heart of London. They are looking to appoint an experienced Architect and Senior Architectural Technologist to join their growing team, working on a variety of exciting projects from inception through to completion.
This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong professional who enjoys taking ownership of projects, leading teams and delivering high-quality architectural solutions within a collaborative environment.
The RoleThe successful candidate will play a key role in overseeing projects throughout the full construction lifecycle, coordinating project teams, managing technical delivery and ensuring high standards of design and construction information.
You will be responsible for:- Leading projects and managing delivery across multiple RIBA stages.
- Producing and reviewing detailed technical and construction information.
- Coordinating with clients, consultants, contractors and internal teams.
- Supporting and mentoring junior team members.
- Managing project programmes, resources and deadlines.
- Contributing to business development through strong client relationships and commercial awareness.
- 3+ years’ post-qualification experience for Architect applicants, or equivalent professional experience for Senior Architectural Technologists.
- Proven experience leading architectural projects from inception through to delivery.
- Strong technical knowledge and a thorough understanding of construction processes.
- Excellent design skills with the ability to translate concepts into detailed technical solutions.
- Proficiency in Revit and NBS Chorus, with strong overall software capability.
- Experience delivering projects through both traditional and design & build procurement routes.
- Experience working across the RIBA Plan of Work stages, ideally including contract administration.
- Strong client-facing skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships.
- Excellent communication, organisation and leadership skills.
- A collaborative approach with experience motivating, delegating and influencing within project teams.
- Good knowledge of contracts, regulations and industry standards.
