About the RoleRole Overview
We are looking to collaborate with a new Intermediate Designer with an architectural and/or interior design training and background to bring creativity, impeccable taste, rigor and passion to our design projects from conceptual development. This is a role in our London studio working in our multidisciplinary design team and collaborating regularly with our interiors team/s in New York. You will partner with clients to conceptualise, design, manage and execute functional, and fabulous architectural interior design plans.
Every day, you will apply your hospitality design experience to new design contexts, bringing new ideas to life by collaborating with your team and developing projects through all design phases.
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Participating in client meetings and craft elaborate client presentations in In Design
- Communication and cross collaboration to drive conceptual thinking on your projects
- Producing 3D models,sketchesand boards to support your ideas
- Selecting,specifyingand designing FF&E as well as architectural finishes
Required
- Minimum of 3-5 year experience as a professional designer in a creative space
- Demonstrable experience in interior design and openness to transferring this experience tonew designcontexts
- Fluent inAuto Cad
2020 and working knowledge of Revit - Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite
- Experience with AI Illustration platforms such as Nano Banana & Krea
- Possess the ability to model in 3D Max, Rhino, Sketchup or Revit
- Experience in strategy within ambitious design projects
- Experience with narrative driven projects
- Experience working with interdisciplinary design teams such as digital media, technicaldesignand theatrical design
Contract: This is a permanent contract in our London team.
Location: This role is based within our London Studios. We value regular in-person collaboration because we think it leads to the best creative work however hybrid working is available around project commitments.
Deadline: Friday 21st August 10am.
Interviews: Introductory calls and interviews are anticipated from 24th August. We aim to run two rounds of interview for this role with various members of our project teams, time to visit the studio and opportunity to meet more people in person.
