Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and innovative Senior Architect to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing complex architectural projects, overseeing design development, and ensuring project goals are met within budget and on time. The Senior Architect will also be expected to mentor and guide junior architects while working closely with the project team and clients.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage complex architectural projects from inception to completion
- Oversee the design development process and ensure that project goals are met within budget and on time
- Collaborate with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project success
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior architects
- Develop project proposals and budgets
- Review and approve project drawings, specifications, and other project-related documents
- Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with design specifications and standards
- Identify and resolve design-related issues during the construction phase
- Keep abreast of industry trends, regulations, and codes
- Provide input on the development of studio-wide policies and procedures
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture
- Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in architecture
- Licensed Architect preferred
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Sketch Up, and other design software
- Strong leadership, project management, and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work
- Knowledge of sustainable design practices and LEED certification is a plus
