Healf curates wellbeing brands across EAT, MOVE, MIND, and SLEEP, and is expanding from e-commerce into a technology platform. It is building Wellbeing Intelligence, a product that uses behavioural data from over half a million customers to personalise wellbeing decisions and connect people’s actions with how they feel.

• Define Wellbeing Intelligence as a lived product experience, including the mobile app, core surfaces, information architecture, and emotional register;
• Research user needs, frame problems, design solutions, and defend product decisions;
• Build the design system from scratch, including components, patterns, and standards;
• Define and defend Healf’s product language and design culture;
• Establish design tools, rituals, engineering collaboration, research practices, and feedback processes;
• Set a clear, evidence-based product direction and advocate for what should be built next;
• Create a distinctive and trustworthy design language for Wellbeing Intelligence;
• Deliver a working design system for engineers and future designers;
• Conduct user research that changes product decisions;
• Shape product experiences that users describe in emotional terms;
• Build a design function that attracts other designers.

• Experience defining problems rather than only executing briefs;
• Experience being the first designer, a founder, or working at an early-stage company where design decisions determined product outcomes;
• Experience building design systems and established patterns from scratch;
• Ability to think in systems while focusing on detailed user moments;
• Cross-functional experience working through product build and production implementation;
• Ability to identify and address implementation drift with engineering;
• Strong opinions and the ability to defend design decisions constructively;
• Ambition focused on the impact and quality of the work;
• Ability to demonstrate an end-to-end product led, including problem framing, decisions, tradeoffs, results, and lessons learned;
• Evidence of zero-to-one design experience without an existing design system or established patterns;
• Experience changing what a company built through design;
  
  Evidence of close collaboration with engineers during implementation;
• A clear point of view on great health product design and its shortcomings.
