Position: Senior Technical Architect - Architecture Job 50,000 - 65,000
Job Summary Senior Technical Architect – Architecture job in Tower Hamlets, London offers the opportunity to join an AJ100 award-winning architectural practice delivering complex residential, mixed-use and regeneration projects across London and the UK. This role focuses on leading technical delivery from planning through to completion, ensuring projects are coordinated, compliant and successfully delivered through RIBA Stages 3-6. Working closely with clients, consultants, contractors and internal design teams, you will oversee technical design, construction information and project coordination while maintaining the highest standards of quality.

This position suits an experienced ARB Registered Architect with strong Revit skills and proven experience delivering large-scale residential developments. You will also mentor junior team members while helping to deliver technically excellent architecture within a collaborative and supportive practice.

This is an opportunity to join a highly respected design studio working on significant projects throughout London and the wider UK.Role & Responsibilities Lead the technical design and coordination of complex residential and mixed-use developments across RIBA Stages 3-6

Produce and oversee detailed construction drawing packages, schedules and specifications for planning amendments, Building Control, warranty providers and construction

Coordinate multidisciplinary consultant teams including structural, MEP, fire, façade and specialist subcontractors to maintain technical compliance and design quality

Act as the technical lead throughout project delivery, resolving design queries while maintaining programme objectives and architectural intent

Review subcontractor design information, technical submissions and product approvals ensuring consistency with project requirements and design quality

Attend client meetings, design team meetings and regular site inspections providing technical guidance throughout construction delivery

Coordinate façade packages, external envelope details, planning amendments and technical documentation while mentoring junior architects and technicians

Skills & Experience RequiredARB Registered Architect with a minimum of five years post-Part III experience within a UK architectural practice

Proven experience delivering large-scale residential and mixed-use developments through RIBA Stages 3-6

Strong knowledge of UK Building Regulations, CDM Regulations, construction detailing and warranty provider requirements

Excellent Revit skills with experience producing detailed drawing packages, specifications and construction information

Experience coordinating multidisciplinary consultant teams, specialist subcontractors and supporting construction phase delivery

Strong communication, organisational and leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously

Knowledge of AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite and NBS Chorus would be beneficial

Salary & Benefits Salary of 50,000 – 65,000 per annum depending on experience
