Job Summary Senior Architect Job London is an Architecture role focused on high-profile education projects across the UK. The role is based in London from a Clerkenwell studio within a multi-award-winning architecture and building consultancy. You will lead the design and delivery of education projects, including large-scale school developments.
The position involves developing project briefs into coordinated design solutions in line with the RIBA Plan of Work. You will provide technical and design leadership, coordinate multidisciplinary teams and support compliant architectural outcomes across project stages. The role also includes specifications using NBS, planning applications, Building Regulations submissions and Building Safety Gateway requirements.

Role & Responsibilities Lead the design and delivery of education projects, including large-scale school developments across the UKDevelop project briefs into coordinated design solutions in line with the RIBA Plan of Work Provide technical and design leadership throughout project stages, supporting quality and compliance
Coordinate multidisciplinary teams to achieve successful project outcomes and consistent project communication
Contribute to Pre-Construction Information, project deliverables and robust architectural design information
Author specifications using NBS and maintain technical compliance throughout project delivery stages
Support planning applications, Building Regulations submissions and Building Safety Gateway requirements
Attend and lead client, consultant and contractor meetings, workshops and project reviews
Skills & Experience RequiredARB registered Architect with a minimum of 5 years UK architectural experience
Strong experience delivering education projects, ideally including large DfE school schemes
Excellent understanding of Building Bulletins and current education design standards
Commercial and contractual awareness with ability to support coordinated project delivery
Minimum 2 years of experience using Autodesk Revit within architectural practice
Advanced knowledge of Adobe InDesign for presentations, reports and project communication
Knowledge of UK Construction Law, British Standards and relevant Codes of Practice Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills across complex project teams
Salary & Benefits Salary 45,000 – 55,000 depending on experience
